This wine is the favorite of our Limited Editions, boasting 25 medals from the world’s most prestigious competitions, including two gold medals at the International Wine & Spirit Competition and Bacchus 2022.

Cabernet Franc was produced at Monte Xanic in the 1990s, becoming of the flagship wines of both the Limited Edition line and Monte Xanic itself.

Produced as a single-varietal in very few places worldwide, only in climates that allow full ripening – such as our valleys – the wine also demonstrates excellent aging evolution. Origination from Bordeaux in southwestern France, the grape grows on vigorous vines with small to medium compact clusters and small, dark berries with thick skins.

Appearance:

Deep purple-ruby.

Nose:

Pronounced aromas of red cherry, redcurrant, raspberry and fresh blueberry, with floral notes of violet and lilac. Herbal nuances, black pepper, clove, cinnamon and cedarwood from oak.

Palate:

Dry, medium body with high acidity and medium, refined tannins. Bright red fruit flavors complemented by spice, subtle balsamic notes and oak-derived vanilla. Elegant and precise, with excellent strength.

Conclusion:

Outstanding quality. A refined, expressive single-varietal Cabernet Franc with complexity and strong ageing potential.
