Grape variety: 40% Tempranillo, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot.

Vintage: 2022

Aging: Aged in French oak barrels.

ABV: 13.0%.

Vineyards: Guadalupe Valley and Ojos Negros Valley.

Winemaking: These red varieties are harvested by hand at their optimum stage of ripeness in order to retain their freshness and preserve the red fruit aromas. The grapes are immediately transferred to the winery for manual sorting and afterwards the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 23-25°C (73-86°F).

Barrel aging is done to minimize the impact of oak and enhance the fruity profile on the nose. Its barrel aging allows it to soften its tannins making them silkier.

Tasting notes:

Medium cherry red color with violet hues.

Aromas of red fruits such as strawberry, red cherry, raspberry and black fruit such as plum and blackberry. In addition there are fine aromatic herbs such as thyme, rosemary, menthol and sweet spices such as vanilla. Lactic tones.

A wine with fresh acidity, warm alcohol and balanced tannins. Fruity aromas are confirmed on the palate. Refreshing and easy to enjoy.

Best served from the year of release up to five years.

Food pairing: Starters with semi-mature cheeses, cured meats, Serrano ham. Mexican food, arrachera tacos, marinated jerky, pizza, pasta with sauces, among others.

This blend of Valle de Guadalupe and Ojos negros produces a very pleasant wine with aromas of red fruits such as strawberry, red cherry, raspberry and black fruit such as plum & blackberry. Fine aromatic herbs such as thyme, rosemary, menthol and sweet spices such as vanilla. Lactic notes.  Fresh acidity, medium body, warm alcohol, with balanced tannins.
